John Bass has been a shareholder since 1994 and member of the Professional Liability practice group. He concentrates his practice in the area of medical malpractice and nursing home defense. John is an experienced trial attorney and has successfully defended hospitals, physicians and other health care providers on a variety of matters.
He has also practiced extensively before the appellate courts of Pennsylvania. John is a member of the Board of Directors of HOPE Network, an organization that provides education and athletic activites for handicapped youth and adults. He serves as co-chair of their non-profit group's Hoops Classic Basketball Tournament. John is also on the board of the Lee W. Bass, M.D. Community Pediatric Lecture Series Endowment, which supports programs on behalf of Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
