Mike is the Chair-Elect of the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and will ascend to Chair in July 2010. He has served as an elected member of the YLD Council since 2006 and was appointed as the Chair of the YLD’s Public Service Committee in 2008. Mike also serves on the YLD’s by-laws, diversity, and education committees.

In 2008, Mike was appointed to a three-year term on the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s House of Delegates, serving as the Zone Twelve Delegate for the PBA Young Lawyers Division.

Mike was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2010. Considered among the best in their profession, Rising Stars represent the top 2.5% of the practicing attorneys in Pennsylvania, age 40 or younger or in practice for ten years or less.

Prior to joining the firm, Mike was a staff attorney for Chief Justice Stephen A. Zappala of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. During law school, Mike served as a law clerk for both the Pennsylvania Governor's Office of General Counsel and the Dauphin County District Attorney's Office.
